Welkom op mijn Youtube kanaal. Op dit kanaal vind je vooral video's van mijn modelspoorbaan 'Den Akker' en alles wat daar mee te maken heeft. Verder vind je hier de instructievideo's 'Rocrail voor beginners' en twee korte series 'Digitaal modelspoor voor beginners', en 'Digitaal modelspoor met Arduino'. Ik maak deze video's zonder winstoogmerk. Alle video's zijn daarom vrij toegankelijk voor iedereen en zonder reclame inkomsten (voor zover het aan mij ligt maar het kan zijn dat YouTube alsnog reclames toevoegt). Als er bedrijven of personen zijn die me (tijdelijk) willen sponsoren met materialen zodat ik die in een video kan verwerken dan houd ik me aanbevolen. Budget Model Railways

A model railway channel for those interested in making model railways ( or railroads for our American friends) on a limited budget. This will cover both buildings, scenery, rolling stock and locos. It will have a sub plot on making freelance layouts. Basically I'm interested in making model railways or a lot less and using simpler methods. Ive also realised that many people are put off making their own layout because of cost, time and space problems and I hope to show how to overcome all of these. It wont be about really fine scale modelling but about getting something acceptable to run your loco collection on. Please do comment as I don't know if I am the only one who does not want to spend thousands of pounds and take ten years to build a layout, judging by the model railway press in the UK I reckon no one else is interested in my approach?! Bunters Yard

Bunters Yard is (mostly) dedicated to weathering model railway trains and rolling stock. We'll attempt to demonstrate different weathering techniques and weathering products and how you can use them too give your model trains a more natural an realistic appearance. We also build some custom models and trains using 3d resin printed parts to give our models a unique spin. And in our eBay Rescue playlist we'll give a new lease of life to older trains that are ready for the scrap heap!

Chadwick Model Railway

Chadwick Model Railway is a "Tail Chaser" based around 1970 in the West Country of the UK. Originally it was Chadwick TMD, a small exhibition layout which is currently being rebuilt into a larger permanent home based layout. It's OO scale and provides me with the opportunity to both improve my modelling skills, and through YouTube, spread the word regarding our fascinating hobby. It's powered by Digitrax and assisted by Train Controller.

Cupar & District Model Railway Club

Founded in 1977, Cupar & District Model Railway Club is a small but very friendly club with members from a varied background and ages, but with a common interest in Railways and model making.
We are based in Cupar, Fife and travel to model railway exhibitions all over Scotland including Dundee, Glenrothes, St Andrews, Perth, Greenock, Renfrewshire, Inverness, Falkirk and also the Warley National Exhibition. The club is a member of AMRSS Ltd, organisers of Model Rail Scotland.
We have a number of award winning model railway exhibition layouts in OO, HO, ON30 and O scale operating in DC and DCC. Some of our model railway layouts have been featured in Railway Modeller, Continental Modeller and Hornby Magazine.
Our On30 labour Four Feather Falls won the Continental Modeller trophy at the 2018 Warley National Exhibition.
We organise the annual Cupar Model Rail, one of the longest running Model Railway Exhibitions in Scotland, held in Cupar Corn Exchange every July.

I also enjoy filming real steam Loco`s so visit the Local NYMRailway regular in the summer time , and of course I have my other hobby keeping Koi Carp , so during the sumer months I like to film these along with my garden when all in bloom .

Station Road Model Railway

Station Road is an OO gauge continuous run compact model railway of a fictitious location and name set during the late 1950's to the early 1970's in Britain. It is an 'L' shaped layout setup in the garage with up and down lines running DCC locomotives in a twin figure 8 configuration across 2 levels. This channel is all about modest railway modelling and how to achieve some great results without spending a fortune. Topics include the re-appropriation of materials vs pricey model making materials, tools for railway modelling, locomotive and rolling stock tips and tricks, kit bashing, scenic detailing, layout wiring and electronics, and many more topics. NOTE: I don't profess to be an expert railway modeller so techniques and methods are just the way I approach projects. As they say, there is more than one way to skin a cat (although I deeply oppose cats being skinned).

Wordsworth Model Railway

Welcome to the home of the Wordsworth Model Railway Channel. Here you will find videos of scale sized models in 00 gauge (4mm to the foot in real life) Please note these are not toys but scale sized models. Within this channel you'll find short entertain videos showing running sessions of these scaled size models through scaled sized scenery which includes buildings & countryside. You will also find instructional videos showing how you might build the scale sized card models freely available from the Wordsworth Model Railway website. Once again these are scaled sized kits ready for use in 00 gauge railway layouts. The layout is built in my loft & currently is around 3m x 3mm square (Approx 10' square) It will soon be expanded to run the full length of the loft extending it to 6m x 3m. The layout is controlled using a DCC system (Currently the ECoS 50200) with quite a few models fitted with DCC sound chips. The Models run in a fictional place on the east coast main line in the UK.
